PAX ET LUMEN STUDENTS GO FOOTLOOSE AND FIND THE CURE
Pax et Lumen International Academy staged two musicals, The Cure and Footloose, with the whole student body as cast on 18 February, Saturday. All pre-elementary up to the 6th grade students performed in The Cure in various fairy tale roles. On the other hand, the whole high school (grades 7 to 10) student body, performed in Footloose, a musical about a small town facing the social challenges of modern times. Both musicals focused on family and community values: on "love as the cure" and on "clean dancing and fun as part of celebrating life" as God would like us to celebrate. The two musicals which were the school's 2016-2017 cultural and performance arts projects were done in close cooperation with the Parents and Teachers' Association (PTA) and Onstage Productions.
