Miriam College's 9th President begins her term on October 1, 2019

The Board of Trustees of Miriam (Maryknoll College) announced the appointment of the Chairperson of the Board of Pax et Lumen International Academy , Ambassador Laura Quiambao-Del Rosario as PRESIDENT of Miriam (Maryknoll College) effective 01 October 2019.

Ambassador Laura Quiambao-Del Rosario will remain as Board Chairperson and will continue as a member of the High School Faculty of Pax et Lumen International Academy. Logistical arrangements have been made for her to be at Miriam College every day after lunch three times a week and the whole day on certain days.

As the next President of Miriam College, she will lead in the planning for and initial construction of a 11-hectare campus of Miriam College at Ayala Alviera Porac, Pampanga. MC in Alviera will be Miriam's third campus. Miriam College's second campus is in Nuvali, an Ayala Property Development area.

The main and the biggest campus of Miriam College is in Loyola Heights, Quezon City with a combined student population of more than 7,000 students from its Child Study Center to its Graduate School. She will work with the Miriam faculty on expanding academic programs gearing them towards the realities and changes in the 21st century.
